Born in Camden, London and grew up in Wiltshire. I am a Design Engineer working in Automotive and Aerospace design. My first job was as an apprentice with Pressed Steel Fisher as a Jig Fitter. Moved up to the Design Office in Car Body Design using CAD design software. Worked on Rover Cars, Jaguar and Land Rover. I am now doing contracting work in the Aerospace Industry for Airbus on Landing Gear in Bristol.

Likes: Minis, Sports Cars, Singing, Swimming, Playing Squash, Brass Bands, Networking and helping people.

Dislikes: Whingers, people who disrespect others, and people who think they are better than everyone else.

Music: Jazz, Classical, Pop, Drum & Bass, Trance, Brass.

Films: Blood Money, Derailed, Titanic, Snakes on a Plane.

TV: Only Fools & Horses! Comedy, Documentaries on other peoples lives.

Books: Harry Potter, Network Marketing For Dummies, Rich Dad Poor Dad.

I trained to be a teacher, then changed direction totally and went in to IT, then found Networking and never looked back!

Likes: Meeting people and making new friends, online networking, dogs, walking, birdwatching, conservation, geneology, pilates, reiki, gardening, reading, whale and dolphin watching.

Dislikes: Rudeness and being ignored!

Music: I am happy to listen to all kinds of music apart from opera. But I particularly enjoy Santana, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Wishbone Ash when my neighbour is out.

Films: Comedy and thrillers. I do find it difficult to sit still long enough to watch a whole film though!

TV: 24, Corrie and Enders of course and the classic comedies like Only Fools and Horses which I can watch over and over again.

Books: Bill Bryson and anything but murder mysteries are my favourites, but nothing too gory though.

I am originally from Hammersmith in London but grew up and live in the beautiful, ancient county of Wiltshire. Wiltshire has the most ancient monuments than any other county in the UK, including Avebury. It is beautiful any time of the year. Avebury stone circle is now considered a more important historical monument than Stonehenge. We live right on the edge of the South Downs which during the winter gales is not so good, and we can hear the guns on Salisbury Plain when the army are on manoeuvres. I have one daughter, a Graphic Designer and Internet Marketer, who is in her twenties.

I spent many years as a Secretary/Personal Assistant in local government, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and in marketing departments of some very interesting large companies. I then temped plus worked for the library service whilst bringing up our daughter.
